Bake off at The Mill

This week there was a bake off at The Mill and of course i just had to enter. I even made two entires, a carrot cake and a cinnamon bread. However i did not win but maybe next time if i'm still around :)

My first Zbrush sculpt

Finally i have started learning some Zbrush. It has been something that i have wanted to do for ages now so the other day i put on some breaking bad, found some nice chocolate, white wine, lit some candles and dived into Zbrush. I started out with a sphere and it seems that it turned into a dog. Hopefully i will get better at some point and i am really looking forward to getting more familiar with the program :)

Reception

Yesterday i had a small reception for my family and friends. We ordered the food from www.danishminies.dk and it was absolutely delicious! (though the cakes where home made) I can highly recommend danish minies!

 

 How could i not make a rainbow cake :)

Graduation!

In January i graduated from The Animation Workshop and i now have a bachelor in computer graphic arts. It has been 5 good years in Viborg and i am now ready to get out there and start working. (The bachelor program is 3,5 years but i also took a couple of semesters at The Drawing Academy.)
I am planning on going back to London asap and getting work in the VFX industry. However i will just have to see what happens :)

Cupcakes

It has been such a long time since i last made cupcakes so this sunday i finally got around to bake some. They are chocolate chip cupcakes with lemon icing topped off with pistachio. They were delicious!

The last days in Viborg

My time in Viborg is coming to an end. I've been here for about 5 years now and yesterday i had my exam. Now i have a bachelor in computer graphic art. It feels so odd but at the same time i am ready to move on.

A few days ago it started snowing so i went out to take some pictures of the town. Everything is a bit more cosy with snow.

When i came out from the exam a bunch of dear fellow students were waiting for me. They had cake, delicious chocolate marzipan buns and flowers. I shall miss my fellow students who have become great friends. However i am sure i shall meet them again in the future. After all, it is a small industry.

Mille

I've been borrowing my parents digital camera for a while now. It's not the best but sometimes it manages to take some okay photo's.

Christmas 2012

After my internship i returned home to my parents to celebrate christmas. I had a great time at The Mill and i hope to be able to return in the future.

I still haven't been drawing much so some photos will have to do..

 

MilkiWay seems to have gotten bigger. He can barely sleep on the chair without sliding off.

 I sure did miss floor heating in London. Mille seem to enjoy it as much as i do. She also looks like how i felt after the Christmas dinner.

And i was lucky enough to get a ride on my friend's horse. My legs were so sore the following days that I could barely walk.

 I also went to Tivoli. It's always nice in Tivoli at Christmas time.

I also bought a present for myself. How could i not buy this unicorn horn for cats? I think it's pretty amazing. (though MilkiWay probably doesn't share my excitement)
